DOMESTIC VIOLENCE & HARASSMENT

Nobody should have to put up with Domestic Violence, Abuse or Harassment by a partner or other family member. Our Expert Lawyers can provide you with the necessary advice and assistance to protect you from such Abuse.

Our Family Lawyers are often called upon to apply for urgent Non Molestation Orders to curtail violence or other forms of Abuse. The necessary Orders can often be obtained from the County Court within 24 hours. If appropriate these Orders are obtained without giving prior notice to the other side – they are served with the Order soon after it is granted by the County Court and the Local Police are notified immediately of its existence.  This ensures that the Police are aware of the need to treat any further telephone call from you to the police station with extra urgency.
